This could be super useful for my next icon design! One of Apple’s goals with iOS 7 is to achieve more consistency in the design of app icons. This iOS App Icon Template will help you create app icons that are more in sync with the design guidelines Apple is providing. There’s something about the start of summer that makes my mind wander to a place of adventure and escape…. The above photo is where my head’s at right now. In other news, I blame it on the juice fast I did earlier in the week, but a few of my posts this week I had scheduled incorrectly and thus launched sort of half finished. I’ll probably go back and add more content over the weekend and give them the TLC they deserve… stay tuned!

I don’t normally talk much about my own professional life on here, but I got the best news today and I just have to brag for one second- my team over at Bumble and bumble won The American Inhouse Design Awards for two campaigns we did! I couldn’t be more proud of everyone and it was probably the best ending to a week I’ve had in a long time. If you’d like to check them out yourself, we won for the work we did for our Color Minded campaign, and Bb.Blow Dry Sessions: A How-To Video Series.

I’ve been really into prints by Hammerpress lately- love the neutral colors and Americana-ness of them all. I want everything they make.

On a personal note, a HUGE design project I’ve been working on launched this week! Big relief and am so proud of everyone who was a part of it, I think it turned out great. If you’re as hair-obsessed as I am, and like how-to stuff, this one should be a big hit: Bb.Volume Sessions:A How To Video Series by Bumble and bumble.

Summer is finally here… we made it! I hope everyone has a lovely Memorial Day Weekend.
